News from the shop

Thank you for 35 years

Thank you to everyone who came in and helped us celebrate a huge milestone. The founders who opened a little gallery in 1991 probably never imagined it would still be welcoming shoppers, and showing so much unique art, more than three decades later. You made our birthday wonderful, as you have made these 35 years wonderful.

The Surprise Art ball machine from the party is staying in the shop for a while. A token is $10, and you get whatever great art comes out.

  • Welcome, Ginger Hager. We've carried Ginger's stained glass for a couple of years, and now she has joined Eclectics as a member artist. She designs every piece herself: flowers, birds, butterflies, roosters, some large and some small.
  • New consignors, new art. Melanie Hutchinson makes purses, ornaments and little boxes from real sari silk collected while she lived in India. Natalie Sligar frames themed collections of real postage stamps. Chris Johnson paints nature and whimsy.
  • Open late on Thursdays, until 8pm.

Show your work at Eclectics

Do you make things? If you're like us, you always have and just can't help yourself. If craft shows have become too hectic, too expensive and too demanding, Eclectics is always looking for like-minded people to join as members, consigning artists or guest artists.

  1. Get in touch

Call the shop or email us for the general information and the application forms.

  2. Bring work to a jury

We jury new work monthly at our meeting, usually the first Monday unless it's a holiday. List each piece with its proposed retail price.

  3. Not in November or December

Those months are too busy to jury. Bring your work to the January meeting instead.
